"But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. Verily, Paradise will be his abode." Qur'an (79:40-41)
The great Scholar, Ibn Al Qayyim (d.751H), rahimahullaah, said in Al-Fawaid (A Collection Of Wise Sayings) (pp.151-152):
"Your life at the present moment is in between the past and the future.
So what has preceded can be rectified by tawbah (repentance), nadam (regret) and istighfaar (seeking Allaah's forgiveness). And this is something which will neither tire you, nor cause you to toil as you would with strenuous labour. Rather it is an action of the heart.
Then as regards the future (then it can be corrected) by withholding yourself from sins. And this abandonment is merely the leaving of something and to be at ease from it. This also is not an action of the limbs which requires you to strive and toil. Rather this is a firm resolve and intention of the heart - which will give rest to your body, heart and thoughts.
So as for what has preceded, then you rectify it with repentance. And as for the future - then you rectify it with firm resolve and intention. Neither of these involves any hardship nor exertion of the limbs.
But then your attention must be directed to your life in the present - the time between to times. If you waste it, then you have wasted the opportunity to be of the fortunate and saved ones. If you look after it, having rectified the two times - what is before it and after it, as we have said - then you will be successful and achieve rest, delight and ever-lasting bliss. However, looking after it is harder than that which comes before and after it, since guarding it involves keeping to that which is most benefiting and beneficial for your soul, and that which will bring it success and well-being."
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah that cannot be violated by a righteous or lewd person from the evil of what He has created, and produced (in abundance) and originated. And from the evil of all that comes down from the sky and all that ascends thereto; and from the evil of what goes into the earth and all that comes out thereof; and from the evil of the trials of the night and day; and from the evil of every visitant except for good ones. O the Finest of the merciful , Aameen. [Musnad Ahmed 3/119; - isnaad sahih in others)
Allahumma inni astaghfiruka li dhanbi wa as'aluka rahmatak (O Allah! I ask You for Forgiveness for my sins, and for Your Mercy.) (Sahih Muslim)
The deen (religion) of Islaam: It is the way of life that Allaah sent the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam with. By it, Allaah terminated the validity of all other religions, perfected this religion for His worshippers, completed His favour upon them and has chosen only this religion for them - no other religion will be accepted by Him from anyone. Allaah - the Most High - said:
"Muhammad is not the father of any man amongst you. Rather he is the Messenger of Allaah and the khaatim (last and final) of the Prophets." [Soorah al-Ahzaab 33:40].
"This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islaam as your religion." [Soorah al-Maa'idah 5:3].
"Indeed the religion with Allaah is Islaam." [Soorah Aal-'Imraan 3:19].
"Whosoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, never will it be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." [Soorah Aal-'Imraan 3:85].
And Allaah - the Most High - obligated all of mankind to take Islaam as their religion. So Allaah said, whilst addressing His Messenger sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam:
"Say: O Mankind! Indeed I have been sent to you all as the Messenger of Allaah; to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. None has the right to be worshipped except Him; it is He who gives life and cause death. So believe in Allaah and His Messenger - the Prophet who can neither read nor write - who believes in Allaah and His Words. So follow the Messenger of Allaah so that you may be rightly-guided." [Soorah al-A'raaf 7:158].
And in Saheeh Muslim (1/93), from Abu Hurayrah radiallaahu 'anhu that Allaah's Messenger sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said: "By Him in whose Hand is the life of Muhammad! There is no one from this nation, be he a Jew or a Christian, who hears of me and dies whilst not having eemaan (faith) in what I have been sent with, except that he will be one of the companions of the Hellfire."
And eemaan (faith) in the Prophet implies: affirming that which he was sent with, along with acceptance of it and submission to it. Without these two matters, mere affirmation is not sufficient. This is why even though Abu Taalib (the Prophet's uncle) affirmed what was sent to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam and that Islaam was the best of religions, yet he did not accept his message nor submit to it; and thus he did not have eemaan in the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
[2] The religion of Islaam contains all that was beneficial from the previous religions. It is suitable for implementation in any age, any where and by any nation. Allaah - the Most High - said, whilst addressing His Messenger sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam:
"And We have sent down to you the Book in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it, testifying to the truth contained therein whilst exposing the falsehood that has been added therein." [Soorah al-Maa'idah 5:48].
That Islaam is suitable for implementation in any age, any where and by any nation does not mean that it becomes submissive to nations - being altered and changed by them - as some people falsely think. But rather it means that whenever it is truly adhered to then it brings benefit and goodness to that nation, as well as reforming and correcting it - in whatever age or place.
[3] The religion of Islaam is the religion of truth. It is the way of life that Allaah - the Most High - guaranteed His help and victory to those who truly adhere to it, and that He would make it dominant over all other religions. Allaah - the Most High - said:
"It is He who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that it may prevail over all other religions, even if the pagans detest it." [Soorah at-Tawbah 9:33].
And Allaah - the Most High - said:
"Allaah has promised to those amongst you who truly have eemaan (true faith and belief) and act in obedience to Allaah and His Messenger, that He will grant them ruler ship upon the earth, just as He granted it to those before them, and that He will establish their Religion for them and grant them the authority to practice their Religion which He chose and ordered them with. And He will certainly change their situation to one of security, after their fear. Providing that they worship and obey Me, not associating anything else in worship with Me. Then, whoever rejects this favour by disobedience to their Lord - then they are the rebellious transgressors." [Soorah an-Noor 24:55].
[4] The religion of Islaam is a complete religion comprising both 'aqeedah (beliefs) and sharee'ah (laws).
It commands them with tawheed (to single out Allaah alone for worship) and prohibits them from shirk (associating partners with Allaah, in that which is particular to Him). It commands them with being truthful and prohibits them from lying. It commands them with 'adl (justice) and prohibits them from injustice and oppression. It commands them with fulfilling trusts and prohibits them from acting treacherously. It commands them keeping promises and prohibits them from breaking them. It commands them with kindness and good treatment of parents and prohibits them from disobedience to them in that which is not sinful. It commands them with joining the ties of relations and prohibits them from severing them. It commands them with good treatment of neighbours and prohibits the causing of harm to them. In short, Islaam orders alls that is good, from manners and morals, and prohibits all that is evil from it. Likewise, it orders all actions which are righteous and good and prohibits all actions that are evil and harmful. Allaah - the Most High - said:
"Indeed Allaah enjoins upon you justice, kindness and the giving of good to relatives and near ones. And He prohibits you from all shameful and evil deeds, oppression and transgression. Thus He admonishes you, that you may take heed and be reminded." [Soorah an-Nahl 16:90].
He Who created the seven heavens in layers. You will not find any discrepancy in the creation of the All-Merciful. Look again-do you see any gaps? Then look again and again. Your sight will return to you dazzled and exhausted! (Qur'an, 67:3-4)
Do you not know that Allah is He to Whom the kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs and that, besides Allah, you have no protector and no helper? (Qur’an, 2:107)
HOW MANY FAVORS WERE GIVEN TO MAN? YET HE PLUNDERS IN THIS LIFE WITHOUT GIVING DUE PRAISE TO HIS CREATOR.
AND WISH NOT FOR THE THINGS THAT ALLAH HAS MADE SOME OF YOU EXCEL OTHERS. FOR MEN THERE IS REWARD FOR WHAT THEY HAVE EARNED (AND LIKEWISE)FOR WOMEN THERE IS A REWARD FOR WHAT THEY HAVE EARNED, AND ASK ALLAAH OF HIS BOUNTY. SURELY ALLAAH IS EVER ALL KNOWER OF EVERYTHING. (AN NISAA:32)
BE AWARE OF
Be aware of being weak and watered down in any aspect or part of your religion. Be aware of being fooled from what you see of so-called modern civilization and advancement in life and wealth. Be aware of becoming weak in front of at-tahaddiyaat (تحديات) - the challenges. Be firm upon al-Haqq (the truth); be upright upon the Truth. Be helpers of one other upon obedience and righteousness. Be as one hand, one body; if a part of the body complains due to illness, the rest of the body reacts to it in fever and staying up, unable to sleep due to the aching part. Solve your problems dear brothers and sisters in Islaam; solve your problems between yourselves. Be aware of differing and disputing. Verily differing is evil; and do not dispute. Allaah سبحانه وتعالى said:
{and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength departs, and be patient. Surely, Allâh is with those who are As-Sâbirûn (the patient)}[Al-Anfaal 8:46]
Have tawakkul (reliance) of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى. Depend on Him and take every correct, beneficial means which brings benefit to you in your religion and your life.
{…so walk in the paths thereof and eat of His provision. And to Him will be the Resurrection. } [Al-Mulk 67:15]
PLEASANT COMPANIONSHIP By Shaikh Ali Hasan al Halabee The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) explained the matter of good companionship, so that no room is left for doubt or confusion, when he (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said,
"A person is upon the Deen of his khaleel (close friend), so look to whom you befriend."(Abu Dawud & Tirmidhee). If your companion is good, he will pull to towards that which is good. But if your companion is bad, he will only pull you towards that which is evil. We must choose our friends and companions carefully so that we take friends who are sincere, and who will order us with what is good and forbid us from what is evil. If he observes us committing sins he would warn us, if he becomes aware of our shortcomings he would advise us, and if he finds a fault in us he would cover it.
About this the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "A MUSLIM IS THE BROTHER OF ANOTHER MUSLIM. HE NEITHER BETRAYS HIM NOR TELLS HIM A LIE, NOR HUMILIATES HIM." (At-Tirmidhee).
Should you see a fault in your brother, you should wish to remove that fault from him and not expose it to the people. this is what is required by brotherhood and again stresses the importance of choosing friends who are upon the correct way, who are loyal, and who hide your faults whilst ordering you with good and forbidding you from evil, who stand beside you and support you, and co-operate with you upon all that is good.
"There are three characteristics; whoever has them will find the sweetness of eemaan: That Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than all else, that he loves a person and does not love him except for Allah, and that he would hat[e] to revert to unbelief just as he would hate to be thrown into the Fire." (Bukhari & Muslim) It is only the brotherhood which is based upon eemaan and taqwaa that is the true and lasting brotherhood. All of those who come together for materialistic reasons; because of complexion, because of nationality, or for whatever other reason, will be enemies one to another "...except al-Muttaqoon." Those who have taqwaa, and love a brother only because he is upon the Path of Allah and has the same eemaan that they have; he has taken the path of the Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and the Salafus-Saalih (righteous predecessors). So be careful, before you slip and find yourself exposed to a fitnah, which you never imagined, all because you were not careful about whom you took as a companion. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "The case of the good companion and the bad companion is like that of the seller of musk and the blower of the bellows (iron-smith). As for the seller of musk, he will either give you some of the musk, or you will purchase some from him, or at least you will come away having experienced its good smell. Whereas the blower of the bellows will either burn your clothing, or at least you will come away having experienced its repugnant smell." [Bukhari & Muslim]
WORKING TOGETHER UPON RIGHTEOUSNESS
O my dear Muslim brothers and sisters, I advise you to be firm upon the Truth, having cooperation between yourselves – helping and working together between yourselves in order to protect your honour and dignity, and to stay upright and firm upon your Deen. Do not enter into issues where the outcome will reflect negatively upon you and upon the teachings of your religion, meaning that you or the Deen will be seen as something negative.
Have uprightness and firmness upon hudaa (guidance), and adhere to Islaam upholding the commands and staying away from the prohibitions. Let Islaam be apparent upon you in your actions and your dealings. It is the Deen of khayr (goodness) and the Deen of rahmah (mercy) and the Deen of joy and happiness in this world and the hereafter.
THE BEST ADVICE – HAVING TAQWAA OF ALLAAH
The best wasiyyah (advice) that a slave can advise himself and his brothers with, is the wasiyyah which Allaah سبحانه وتعالى has given to the creation from the first of them to the last of them. Allaah says:
{…We have recommended to the people of the Scripture before you, and to you (O Muslims)that you (all) fear Allâh, and keep your duty to Him…} [An-Nisaa 4:131]
So my dear brothers and sisters in Islaam, with taqwaa of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى. The reality of taqwaa is to uphold the obligations which Allaah سبحانه وتعالى has made mandatory upon you from the salawaat – upholding it in its time, in jamaa’ah (congregation) in the masaajid, and giving zakaat (the mandatory charity) and fasting the month of Ramadaan and making Hajj to the sacred House of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى.
All good deeds are structured upon achieving Tawheed of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى and practicing the Deen of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى sincerely for His sake.
ATTAINING TRUE EEMAAN
Hold on to this Deen upon knowledge and actions. Indeed true eemaan (belief) – the eemaan which benefits all, is when speech and actions come hand in hand and eemaan is manifested from the deeds you do openly as well as the deeds that you conceal in your heart. So this eemaan is a beneficial eemaan, the eemaan that has good results and brings forth the good, and calls to having excellent character, and wages war and fights against despicable and lowly traits and acts.
THREE CONDITIONS TO ACQUIRE EXCELLENT CHARACTER Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah Excerpted from his Risâlat-ut-Tabûkiyyah __ This is one example of the excellent character with which Allâh, the Exalted, has equipped his Messenger (SA). He described him as, “Verily, you (Muhammad) are on an exalted standard of character.” [Al-Qalam (68): 4] ‘Â’ishah (radiyAllâhu ‘anhâ), described him as, “His character was just [a reflection of] the Qur’ân.”[1] Such excellent character cannot be attained without three conditions: # The foundation must be good. If one has a rough and dry nature, it will be hard for him to submit to this [excellence of character] through knowledge, will, or practice. On the other hand, a mild and smooth nature will be ready and willing to receive the plowing and the seeds [to prepare it for character excellence]. # The soul must be strong and capable of conquering calls of laziness, transgression, and desire. Those matters contradict perfection, and souls that cannot defeat them will always be defeated and conquered. # [One must possess] a discerning knowledge of the truth of matters, enabling one to put them in the rightful position, and to distinguish between flash and cancer - between glass and jewels.
If these three qualities are present in a man, and Allâh’s facilitation helps him, then he will be among those whom the best (husnâ) has been decreed and for whom Allâh’s care has been secured.

ISLAMIC NASHEEDS
Shaykh Muhammad Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee (may Allaah have mercy on him)
Al-Shaykh Al-Albaani said: “We have to be careful of those who try to change the matters by changing their names such as what is called as Islamic Nasheed!! There has not been in Islam, for the whole 14 centuries, anything known as Islamic Nasheed. This is from the inventions of the current modern times. This is a method of inserting that which was known for many centuries and which was refuted by the scholars all along, which is the Sufi songs which they call, “Gathering of Remembrance.” So now they use it to substitute for the songs which the Sufis used to sing before. The scholars have fought against it fiercely especially in this recent age until you could almost not hear anything of these Sufi songs. So now they came and changes the title and substituted it what new title which they call “Islamic Nasheed” yet it still contains elements which Islam prohibits and forbids. These Anaasheed are based on the same Sufi tunes and rhythms but without the extreme exaggeration of the Sufis. So the poetry has its origin in Islam.. the poet of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Hassaan Ibn Thaabit used to refute the kuffar with his poetry per the command of the Prophet. Reciting poetry has its roots in Islam when it calls them to good character and it to excite and encourage them to struggle for the cause of Allah. But to recite this poetry according to the known musical notes and melodies and tunes whether they are western or eastern, indeed this has nothing to do with Islam. Rather the poet used to deliver his poetry that was in its content and goals and method, in total accordance with the legislation. His delivery is also according to the known method used by Arabs, not by using the musical tunes that are governed by the music notes which is in harmony with the eastern and western music. The current Anaasheed we have were not available during the early times, not in its content or the method of delivery.”
Upon this a questioner asked him, “Ya Shaykh, why don’t we look at it differently. Rather than saying that this is an act of disobedience, why don’t we say that this is a better solution than for example having a wedding with music and stuff. Instead, we get some nasheed band and they sing some Islamic songs, from the principle of committing the lesser of the 2 evils.”
The Sheikh replied: “This statement of yours, may Allaah bless you, is incorrect. A Muslim commits the lesser of 2 evils when he has no choice but to do so. Example, if a man is in the desert and he is about to starve to death and he found meat of a dead animal that has not been slaughtered Islamically which makes it haraam to consume. So here, both consuming this meat and dying are evil. But eating a dead meat is the lesser of 2 evils. So this principal only applies when the Muslim has no choice but to commit one of the 2 evils so he chooses the lesser one. But If I were to have a wedding, what would force me to have any form of evil when I am able to invite a scholar maybe or a Quran reciter or a lecturer to admonish people.”

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the inability (to do good), indolence, cowardice, miserliness, decrepitude and torment of the grave. O Allah! Grant me the sense of piety and purify my soul as You are the Best to purify it. You are its Guardian and its Protecting Friend. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the knowledge which is not beneficial, and from a heart which does not fear (You), and from desire which is not satisfied, and from prayer which is not answered" (Reported by Ibn Majah, Muslim and Abu Dawud)

Abu Huraira reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: Don't nurse grudge and don't bid him out for raising the price and don't nurse aversion or enmity and don't enter into a transaction when the others have entered into that transaction and be as fellow-brothers and servants of Allaah. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. The piety is here, (and while saying so) he pointed towards his chest thrice. It is a serious evil for a Muslim that he should look down upon his brother Muslim. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for his brother in faith: his blood, his wealth and his honour. Bismillaah innal hamdulillaah was salaatu was salaamu `alaa Rasoolillaah wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi ajma`een, wa ba`ad...
as salaamu `alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh-
Tale carrying involves conveying the speech of one group of people to another in order to spread dissention between them. Allaah has indeed censured the one described with this characteristic and forbade against listening to his speech as He Says (meaning):
"And do not obey every habitual swearer and slanderer going about with malicious gossip: preventer of good, transgressing and sinful." [68:10-12]
His statement "going about with malicious gossip" refers to the one who goes around among the people inciting discord and carrying tales as mentioned in Tafseer ibn Katheer.
Tale carrying is from the major sins: On authority of ibn `Abbaas (radiyAllaahu `anhumaa) that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) passed by two graves and they were being tormented, but they were not being tormented for something great, while indeed it is a major sin. One of them carried tales and the other did not keep himself free from being defiled by urine. [Saheehayn]
...Hudhayfah said, "I heard the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam) say: 'A slanderer (Qattaat) will not enter Paradise.' " [Bukhaaree #6056/10]
His statement "Qattaat" is explained in the narration of Muslim: "A tale carrier (Nammaam) will not enter Paradise."
It is said that the slanderer (Qattaat) is one that listens to something that he does not know about, and then he converys what he has heard.
So the affair of tale carrying is a dangerous one, it creates dissention between friends and corrupts the strong bonds that connect them...
It is from corruption and animosity. Allaah has prohibited corruption as He Says (meaning):
"And do not seek corruption in the land. Indeed, Allaah does not like people of corruption." [28:77]
rather, He orders rectification:
"Fear Allaah and rectify that which is between you." [8:1]
Additionally He Says (meaning):
"And if two factions from the believers should fight, then reconcile between them." [49:9]
He Says (meaning):
"There is no good in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is good or reconciliation between people. Whoever does that seeking the pleasure of Allaah, then We will give him a great reward." [4:114]
And the Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said from the narration of abu ad-Dardaa': "Should I not inform you of something more excellent in degree than fasting and giving charity?" They said, 'Of course, O Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam)!' He said, "Reconciliation between the people and the corruption of this is destructive (Haaliqah)." [as-saheeh al-Musnad 149/2, abu Daawood]
"Haaliqah" is the characteristic that usually causes people to shave; meaning it destroys and eliminates the religion just as the razor eliminates the hair. It is also said that it is the severing of family ties and mutual oppression. [an-Nihaayah 428/1]
From the examples of efforts to corrupt relationships is the inciting of a woman against her husband.
Abu Daawood narrated upon the authority of abu Hurayrah (radiyAllaahu `anhu) who said that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
"Whoever incites the wife of a man or his servant against him is not from us." [Hasan]
Therefore, it is obligatory to strive towards reconciliation between the Muslims and not to corrupt them.
Moreover, his statement "is not from us" is if he was in opposition to Islaamic Law. then he is considered a disbeliever so the meaning entails that he is not upon our rligion...if he was negligent, then the meaning here is that he is not upon our way. Also from the pious predecessors, there were those who said that it should be understood as it was revealed...
Know that the one who carries tales to you carries tales about you. So I advise whoever possesses this characteristic with softness, easiness, and good admonition time after time. However, if she is not reprimanded, then warn your sisters from her and stay away from her gatherings.
The people of knowledge differ regarding backbiting and tale carrying. Do they oppose one another or are they similar? The position supported by al-Haafidh (rahimahullaah) is that dissimilarity exists between the two and that between the two are both general and specific aspects...carrying tales is conveying the condition of a person to other than him for the purpose of spreading mischief without his consent, regardless of whether he knew about it or not; whereas backbiting is mentioning him in his absence with that which is displeasing to him. Therefore, tale carrying is distinct in that it is done with the intention of spreading mischief and this is not a condition applicable backbiting. Backbiting is distinct in that it occurs in the absence of the subject of the backbiting; but both carrying tales and backbiting share in other than what has been mentioned...
Indeed shaykh Muhammad ibn `abdul-Wahhaab (rahimahullaah) mentioned a chapter entitled "Chapter: In clarification of some of the types of magic" in Kitaab at-Tawheed. From the evidences that he mentioned is the prophetic narration narrated by Muslim upon the authority of ibn Mas`ood (radiyAllaah `anhu) that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
"Should I not inform you what slandering is? It is a tale carrying which creates dissention amongst people." The explainer of Kitaab at-Tawheed - `abdur-Rahmaan Hasan said that ibn `abdul-Barr mentioned upon the authority of Yahyaa ibn abee Katheer who said, "The one who carries tales and backbites corrupts in one hour what a magician cannot corrupt in a year." Abul-Khattaab said, "And from magic is laboring in carrying tales and spreading corruption between the people." [`Uyyoon al-Masaa'il] He said, "And he pointed out that he means harm with his speech and action by way of deceit and trickery which resembles magic, and this is commonly known to the people, by way of custom, that it produces and generates results which are similar to magic, or even more so. Thus, it is assigned the ruling of magic in an attempt to unite that which is similar or approximate. However, it is said, 'The magician disbelieves by way of his association to magic.' This is a specific affair with specific evidence, while the other is not a magician; but rather indeed, his action produces what a magician may produce, so he is given the same ruling except in what is specific to magic like disbelief and the abandonment of accepting a magician's repentance." PROPHET MUHAMMAD (pbuh) IN THE BIBLE by Dr Zakir Naik
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Old Testament:
The Qur’an mentions in Surah Al-Araf chapter 7 verse 157:
"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures) in the law and the Gospel".
1. MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY:
Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18:
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."
The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet.
If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets.
However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh):
i) Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention.
[Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also Al-Qur'an 3:42-47]
ii) Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children.
iii) Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158)
Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of Moses (pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail (pbuh) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (pbuh).
Words in the mouth:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them verbatim.
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him."
[Deuteronomy 18:18]
iv) Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, "My kingdom is not of this world." (John 18:36).
v) Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, "He came unto his own, but his own received him not."
iv) Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18).
2. It is Mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."
3. Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:
It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."
When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned".
4. prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned by name in the old testament:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16:
"Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem."
"His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem."
In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as "altogether lovely", but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet present.

"And (remember) when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Do not join others in worship with Allah. Indeed, joining others in worship with Allah is the highest wrong-doing."
And we have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is two years – give thanks to Me and to your parents – unto Me is the final destination.
But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.
"O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be (hidden) in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well-Aware (of its place).
"O my son! Establish Salah, enjoin al-Ma’ruf (right) and forbid al-Munkar (wrong), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Indeed, these are some of the important commandments ordered by Allah with no exemption. "And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk (arrogantly) through the eath. Indeed, Allah likes not each arrogant boaster. "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Indeed, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the Ass."
